I guess it's time for a little update for those who still bother reading my journals To put it shortly, I've been working in Norway since April but the digging season is soon over so I slowly start to look for a flat in Bergen - I hope I can find something nice and in reasonable price (for Norwegian standards that is hehe). I'm also planning to see some concerts in the nearest future so there's a chance I'm going to upload some new photos by the end of this century By the way, some of the pictures I took at this year's edition of my beloved Hole In The Sky festival are to be found in the gallery section on their website: [link] There are more to come though!

But definitely the best news is that I'm going to Iceland for short holidays in December! I'm extremely excited about it and simply cannot wait! Ant tips about 'must see' anyone?

I'll skip the 'it's been a while...' line since everyone knows I'm hopeless at keeping things up to date

To put it shortly, I'm on forced holidays in Poland right now as it didn't work out with finding a job to survive the winter in Norway. I hope to be back north as soon as the digging season begins but for the time being I got stuck down here with a lot of free time and very little money. One can't have it all... Still I try to make the best out of it, even if my mood is far from being excellent. Anyways, I should soon upload some new photos from random shows I've been to last year - hope you'll gonna like it!

It's been a long time since the last entry... for a change I know I am hopeless at updating my journal but (as ususal) there's been a lot of things happening lately.

Firstly, I've been in Norway for the past 2,5 months. In the end of May I got a call from Kulturhistorisk Museum in Oslo asking if I am still interested in working for them. Guess what my answer was I had a week to fix everything in Poland and make it to Norway to start working on one of their projects. It was crazy but definitely worth it - one of my dreams came true just when I almost lost faith in it!

Secondly, due to my work I missed all the summer festivals this year but one. It was a spontaneous decision and rather an expensive trip but definitely worth it! Hole In The Sky is definitely one of the best festivals ever - the atmosphere is just amazing! Fantastic bands performing live, great crew, lots of familiar faces as well as an opportunity to meet new people (big hello to - it was a real pleasure meeting you finally 'in real'!) - what else do one need?! It really feels at home there and that definitely was something essential in the end of busy summer
Despite my constant gear problems, expect some photos soon!

Thirdly, time for bad news. Just after I got back from Bergen I got to know the project we work on finishes much earlier than planned... In other words, I have to look for a new job and a flat again. There's not much of a point in going back to Poland as I quitted my job there (to accept the offer from Kulturhistorisk Museum) and I do not have a place to stay in Krakow anymore since my friends decided to move out of the flat we used to rent while I was away... The problem is the excavation season here in Norway comes slowly to an end and since my Norwegian is still not good enough it will be hard to find some other job. But I'll keep on trying. Hopefully things work out good for me eventually. Keep your fingers crossed!

P.S. While I was offline there were some amazing things happening here that need to be mentioned. I am absolutely speechless after seeing a work ([link]) by based on one of my photos ([link]). It's absolutely amazing - thank you very much once again Myst!

I've been inactive here for a while but definitely not because I was too lazy to update this page. My life is seldom boring so as usual there were a lot of things to deal with. Not to mention the technical problems like broken PC and no access to Internet... Anyways, seems I am back on the track again since I got a new job and we found a new flat with my friends!

In other words, I guess I'll be even more busy now But I will try to keep you updated I might upload some pictures from Inferno Festival soon but I am not very satisfied with those. There were hardly any front lights so it was really hard to get some nice shots.

And one more thing - the number of visits at my profile just exceeded the unbelievable amount of 10,000 which is absolutely amazing! I want to thank you all for dropping in and leaving comments! It's very much appreciated even if I don't always have time to answer them all.
